There were two versions of this painting... one that made the woman look dainty and flawless and angelic while beheading a man, and this one - the more realistic one - where the woman has that fierce expression on her face and isn't afraid to get spattered w/ blood.

ok, now seriously, polygamy is wrong for men and women. It might have been 'logic' in the past to have many women (due to low population, to many rich men, women had no status or jobs thus no choise, lots of tyrans with their slaves etc etc. ) but it always has been wrong, right?

i think what you think: it was more suitable back then than it is now... and of course, many many things were "suitable" back then -- ahem --

now, whenever i hear of a fellow female who's husband comes back one day from another wedding (and he's the groom ) i applaud her when she kicks him out of the house, takes her kids and his and her money and leaves. Any woman who agrees to "share" her husband with another one should be stripped of that title.

People might argue... oh, okay - yeah, i can't make babies and there's no one to carry my poor husband's name/money... if they got married just to reproduce and have offspring to carry their genes/money/property/status/name then their marriage was bound to get messed up sooner or later....

What pisses me off the most is when they think it's the girl who's not fertile, they give her hell and pressure her husband to ditch her and get another fertile woman. But then when they find out that it's the GUY who's infertile, then they keep it quiet and keep the marriage together and buy the couple gifts and take them on vacations so they can "forget"....

true! mens mistakes and shortcomes are STILL covered by family etc.

shocking stories are also when couples get married one of the two secretly weds another one in some other country! A true loving husband/wife simply wouldn't do that! and then present this illegal wedding to the family like 'financial support'

I KNOW!!! And something else that pisses me off is when the wife is going through a hard time and is depressed or stressed, or say - is going to school and doesn't have much *special* time with her husband, her family members tell her to ditch everything and turn into a "woman" so that her husband doesn't think of replacing her....

BUT --- when the guy is sloppy and is inattentive and ignores his wife, his relatives say nothing and when she complains, her relatives tell her to suck it up and be patient and stay behind her husband no matter what. The words I hate the most in these situations are: "It7amali" or "3addi" (meaning "suck it up" or "it's normal")... IT'S NOT 3ADDI!! !!
