Thank you so much for your reply. Your knowledge of religion is amazing! I have noticed that by reading your posts. You also seem to know a lot about Islam, which is impressive coming from a (ex-)minister. I respect your quest and studies, and by far you have a much wider perspective then I. Like you, I see religion, and the values they dictate, to be generally positive, and I believe that they set good strong morals to follow... Having worked in Afghanistan for two years I also have seen religion cause much hardship and be the center point of a war. I have also seen politics block the way of aid and relief to people who need it, this also makes me sick. Having been in Tajikistan when a Church was bombed, killing several friends I knew made me want to end this battle between Muslims and Christians. You mentioned that you hate politics, are these U.S. politics? Speaking of the Bush club, or are these global politics or both? Are you American? My food for thought is... How can we all live in unity without discrimination among each other. Thanks again.
Hi All.
Nonson, you are right to illustrate that relegion is of great danger to humanity because it is a convenient tool that is often used by extreemists of every type of religion to
achieve POWER. Religion has and will always cause HATE, BLOODSHED and WAR, if you look at the history of religion you would understand what i mean.
"I was trapped by the beauty of the Greek Thought, and have not been able to escape its wonderous clutches". I exactly know what you mean Nonson, the only think that
i would amend in this sentence is that in my case, i was seduced by the Greek ideolgy where Gods are symbolic rather then spiritual and i learned a great deal about human psychology,
My hero is dionysus "The gastronomy will always be a fine art for every civilized man".
AidWorker, i agree with your thoughts about living in harmony and lear to tolerate and respect each other's beliefs, but it hard to find people with this tendancy.

Although there is natural discrimination, such as physical location and so on, don't you think that the obsticals created by these boundries can be overcome? Also, for example, how would you approach the situation in Afghanistan, which has been at war for over two decades. Is it something we should ignore and put it aside because it is local politics and natures discrimination. Or should we fight to maintain global peace and wellbeing for every one. Given your own perspectives of Islam, how, if any, do you see that playing a role in solving a problem such as Afghanistan, and how would you approach that situation.
Are there any simple solutions to any problem around the world? of course No.
By the way is there a medical school attended by Afghani women?
Did you ever think Why were there a civil for over two decades?
Who is behind it?
Why Iraq, Sudan, Afghanistan and Libya are under embargo? They are all Muslim countries as you know.
I am deiying to see what annihilistic approach would be suggested to:
