Father's name

I was born in 1949 in Germany, my natural father was a soldier with the French army stationed in Germany. He was shipped to Indochina in late 1949. The only thing that I have been able to find out is that his name may have been Okbar Hadef. I don't know if the spelling is correct or if he may have used a simplified version of his name.

Any help would be appreciated.
