Nesreen,

How can you write a post like that knowing we are fasting. Are you trying to torture us? Well thank you very much, you just made me hungry.

Sania,

Have you attempted cooking any Algerian dishes?

Khokom.

in Oran Sweet dishes are popular in Ramadan (raisins , caramalized onion and Meat ) or Prune and meat with sesame seeds .
Harira is a must , along with 3 or 4 salads (beetroot, Lettuce tomatoes,) Cooked green pepper salad , Calamars frieds in rings , boiled eggs, homemade bread (forget Parisienne , it can wait till after Ramadan ) i like Homemade bread with black sweet onions seeds (forgot their name in arabic )

Maakouda is nice too (potato patties fried ) and other stuff.
Sweets are my favourites especially CHamia with plenty of ground nuts on top . yumm.

Talking

Inshallah!

Dearest Nesreen, let us think of God first!

We can think of HIS gifts of food afterwards!

However, your description is delicious! Salivating!

Take me to your home to your mom's cooking!

You will go to heaven, assured!

Love

Sania
