For non-Algerians requesting Algerian recipes, this could be a good thing to make.
It’s very popular to have home-made bread and there are lots of types ...This is just one example.

Oh well...

INGREDIENTS

1 kg semolina

1 egg

2 teaspoons yeast

1 tablespoon salt

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Tepid water

FIRST STEP

Break the egg and add to semolina.
Pour tepid water on the yeast and salt.

SECOND STEP

With tepid water, bring semolina together as a firm dough.

Knead until smooth for about 30 minutes.

THIRD STEP

Divide into three, roll into balls, flatten into rounds.

Place on baking trays.

FOURTH STEP

Flatten the dough with your hand.

Sprinkle some sesame seeds.

Flatten the dough a bit more.

Cover with a clean sheet and leave to stand for 30 minutes in a warm place.

LAST STEP

Bake for 20 minutes (350 F)
