those are just stories and there are many variations on that.
One that i know is that no one could remove her clothes because she wore endless wrapped clothes. She did not marry 5 men for her sake. She was a slave and one of them freed her from greedy men who wanted to buy her.
Eventually the family of one of the five men thought their son bought a thing and said to him, whatever you have bought you must share. They did not know it was a woman. When he said it was not for sharing, his parents got angry and said anything is for sharing in an honest house sharing is a must and if not it is over my dead body!
The parents were shocked to see their son bought a woman, and understood they were wrong. Still they said to keep the promise in fear of the angel of death, the angel of Jamraah.
