El Khabar reported. The statement said the UN aid, consisting of semolina and other food products, was delayed by 42 days.
The urgent aid is needed to cope with increasing anaemia cases and malnutrition among the refugees, who depend on international aid. Last week, the European Commission announced that it will allocate 10m euro in aid for Sahrawi refugees. The funds are aimed at meeting the refugees' basic needs for food aid, healthcare, clean water and proper sanitation as well as providing tents and basic household items.
