Algerian pharmaceutical company Saidal, Saudi Spimaco and Jordanian JPM Acdima are joining to establish an "Arab Giant" in the sector, Saidals CEO Ali Aoun said in an interview with
La Nouvelle Republique. The 27m-euro project envisages the construction of a factory in the industrial zone of Rouiba, 20kms east of Algiers, planned to become operational in 2007. Saidal will have the controlling share of the partnership, and hopes to penetrate the Arab market offering quality products at competitive prices, Aoun said.
